He certainly had a bad few years,hopefully he will pick himself up and sort his life out,think he has a few kids and hopefully they will spur him on to get his life back on track.Its not the end of the world [bankrupsy] will give him a fresh start and keep the wolves from his door. good luck colin.

Over the years we have heard a lot of these footballing gambler stories..
Obviously a lot of the problems stem to boredom due to plenty of time on their hands. When they are earning big money by still playing at least they have an income to back it up but once they have retired their income obviously drops dramatically but the gambling still continues..... Spread betting is either great or a disaster and there is no happy medium with that... |

I feel for the guy and yes this is very sad .. the thing is there are many many gamblers and poker players who's story never gets into the papers..
There are many young guns over the years who play poker win a tournament and think there the bee's knee's but you dont hear about them after six months ....it's like a never ending circle of new-bees ..:news: |
