And as Herbie says, this is sometimes what happens with these promotions. I'm still interested, but we will have to see what the format is when they get it going in the Spring.

Had a funny feeling about this one, I tried to contact Sandy on face-book over the weekend but no reply, I'm guessing the response was very low for them to cancel ..
From what I'm seeing with poker both online and live, is the recession and rising costs of everything is affecting turn outs for tournament games ..
However, as I've said in previous posts I'm playing on Black Belt Poker thats on the 'ipoker' network, and this last fortnight have had fantastic turnouts for the 'cut price' tournaments ..
I'll do some investigating , I think there might be a league coming up soon with them, although it's probably not a team event ..
