Richard Keys has resigned from Sky Sports over the sexism row which saw fellow commentator Andy Gray lose his job.
Keys, 53, was interviewed on radio for 40 minutes during which he apologised for his behaviour as Gray had done earlier in the day but blamed 'dark forces' for publicising the issue.
Confirming the veteran presenter's resignation this evening, Sky Sports managing director Barney Francis said it was 'disappointing that Richard's career should end under these circumstances'
